When a customer whose roof we did 30 years ago came to us, we were pleased that the previous roofing system we installed exceeded its lifespan expectation. Our Solution
Metal roofing systems are known for their extreme durability (lasting up to 70 years!) and low maintenance. Additionally, they provide stunning weather resistance and have a Class A fire rating. Our team worked to neatly tear off the existing shingle roofing system, leaving just the deck which upon inspection required a few replacements to adhere to building standards. We replaced the ventilation turbines and skylight. Then, we placed our strong ice and water shield which acts as the secondary water barrier for the system. Finally, we installed the R-Panel metal roof before painting all the roof features to match. The result, a stunning look built to withstand the elements for a very long time.
Materials
We work with our friends at Metal Center for metal roofs. They supplied the 26 Guage R-Panel metal in white. Beneath the metal, Owens Corning PSU30 ice and water shield made for backing up metal roofs. We use materials that are built to last.
